   • Make sure the tires of your car are not worn out. If they are, replace them with new ones.
   • Check the air pressure in your car’s tires, including the spare wheel. As official statistics shows, low tire pressure level becomes one of the most critical factors affecting steerability of cars, so check the pressure before driving. For this purpose, you can use a tire pressure gauge (make sure this device is functional). In case of necessity, use your car pump to get the necessary air pressure level.

   • Before driving the car, make sure you take your driving license with you. This document should be valid and proper.
   • Your vehicle registration should be valid and proper.
   • The insurance identification card for your car should be valid.
   • The no-fault insurance document should be valid.
   • If neglecting these documents, you are likely to be stopped on the road by the police and get at least a penalty.
   • Instructions on policy: if you are an employed driver of a passenger traffic company and you are going to take some passengers with you, make sure they are aware of basic standards. You can also check if they have signed a formal act provided by your company.
