TESTIMONIALS

"...This is an excellent program. I'm so glad that I stumbled on to this when researching for task management programs. Very low learning curv, quite flexible, and the price is right. Tried at least 20 other programs, either too complicated, too expensive, or poor documentation..."

Decompose actions:
- Understand your task and set clear definite objectives that you need to reach under this task;
- Analyze these objectives to assess their feasibility and envisage their actual content;
- If possible, classify your objectives as primal or secondary:
- The primal one is the major goal that once achieved means that the task is mainly complete;
- Secondary objectives are probably not so necessary or critical to the task, or maybe they are intermediary steps towards the major goal);
- Identify general actions (step by step) that you will need to perform in order of completing the task (to achieve each of these goals gradually);
- Take a sheet of paper or task planning software and begin to route your actions from the starting point towards achievement of these goals, or in a backward manner (a reverse type of planning when you take your objectives as starting points to break them down into actions or elements);
- Define time constraints of the task (the start and due dates);
- Elaborate every identified step into doable actions as specifically as possible (make sure every action you list is a really doable activity which cannot be subdivided further);
- Build a sequence of these steps routing one-by-one to the goals (the chain of actions should link up the start of your plan with the goals of the task, so you can follow this chain step by step and attain the goal);
- Test the path you has already designed (walk through it) to check if any uncertainty is met (just anything which makes you to question yourself “how I will do this?”). Explore uncertain things and seek for more deliberation until you know how to complete them;
Decompose resources:
- Identify categories of resources you will need to accomplish the task (let’s say Time, Budget, Information, Raw Materials, Tools, Skills, etc);
- List your categories of resources and populate them with everything you will reasonably need to accomplish your task and reach its goals, so you can estimate the overall amount of resources to be involved into the work (aggregate costs by the resources you will need);
- Take your task decomposition of actions, and associate every.......
