TESTIMONIALS

"...This is an excellent program. I'm so glad that I stumbled on to this when researching for task management programs. Very low learning curv, quite flexible, and the price is right. Tried at least 20 other programs, either too complicated, too expensive, or poor documentation..."

Electrical Safety Checklist:
- Check light in each room: lamps and ceiling fixtures. Ensure the wattages of utilized bulbs are appropriate to recommended values for their fixtures. Inappropriate bulb wattage may overheat a light fixture or its wiring. If recommended wattage is not obvious, then use a 60 watts bulb or less;
- Check you heater: ensure it is fixed, steady and kept away from any inflammable materials and substances. Make sure your heater is properly certified: it should be marked with a seal of a nationally-recognized testing laboratory (UL, ETL, or CSA) which guarantees adequate safety level;
- Move the heater far enough (at least 3 feet) from any inflammable materials, such as drapes, upholstery or papers, because some heaters may radiate a lot of heat which is enough to ignite nearby combustible furnishing;
- Keep your heater properly serviced and its wiring isolated (if you detect any smoke, strange smells or sparks, then turn it off and immediately call for service technician);
- Check all electrical cords in your home (light fixtures, extension cords, TVs, computers, audio system, kitchen appliances, etc). Inspect the isolation on cords to see if it is not damaged, frayed or cracked anyhow;
- Replace any damaged wires immediately to prevent possibility of electric shock or ignition from contacting with the bare wires;
- Remove all electric cords from any high-traffic areas where they can be stepped on or stumbled over. Also avoid any heavy objects, furniture, carpeting or rugs from resting on wires. Prevent cords from being roughly bended or tightly wrapped around some objects;
- Ensure that all extensions cords are equipped with safety covers on the unused outlet. Measure the electrical rating on appliances and extension cords to make sure they are not loaded over their recommended capacity, as an overloaded cord gets hot, may melt and cause fire;
- Replace overloaded extension cords with cords of higher capacity. For places where such cords are used permanently consider installing regular house outlets instead of extension wiring which is not so safe;
- Inspect wall outlets: if some of them are warm, discolored or produce sparks, then you need to call a qualified electrician to check them;
- Make sure that all electric and electronic appliances are placed in dry places and well-protected against occasional water drops, leaks (such as rain) or possibility of being flooded (they are kept away from water sources);
- When taking a bath or shower make sure that all electric devices nearby are unplugged;
- Make sure all electronic devices (that heat up while working, such as TV set or PC) are placed in well-ventilated areas (not being enclosed or blocked), so they can appropriately cool down as it is required in their owner’s handbooks to prevent overheating and fire hazard;
- Make sure that all outlets and switches are operational, and there is no bare wiring which is not covered by faceplates. Make sure all plugs fit the types of outlets they are plugged in;
- Make sure all electric appliances and their cords are placed safely away from hot surfaces such as oven, range burner or toaster. Unplug and take to service everything that seems to be unsafe or working improperly (if appliance produces tingling feeling or slight shocks when you touch it, smoke, sparks or odd smells);
- Make sure all electric appliances which are not regularly in use are stored unplugged. Follow ...
